“ Very tasty food! Ordered at counter. Food came out fast. Staff was friendly and helpful! And I'm an old guy ”
“ The food was excellent. I ordered on line and it was ready when it said it would be. The atmosphere was very busy and the wait staff showed it. Even so, they should smile once in awhile. Overall it was great. ”
“ Split Pea Soup? Yes, please. No, theirs does not have the little bits of ham that bring my taste buds to attention, but it is still very good. Stopped in for a quick lunch with soup on my mind. Check all the boxes: Quick service (even at 1:00), lunch, and soup. I just luv this place... open, tall ceilings, not super loud, and bright with lots of windows. ”
“ Ran into a friend in Carson. She said I had to go to LA Bakery for lunch. It's her fav place. The food is very fresh. I can see why it's her fav place. Got there around 11:30 the restaurant was pretty full. I wanted a lighter lunch so I ordered half chicken, red pepper, spicy mayo on ciabatta and a cup of soup which was lentil soup. Both were delicious. The chicken breast is juicy with a generous red pepper spread on it. The bread is soft and delicious. The lentil soup is sooo delicious and filling. All this for $11!!! The restaurant got super busy around noon. I can see why this place is Carson favorite. ”
“ Love this amazing bakery/cafe in Carson City. If you are in town you must stop by. They have the most delicious baked goods but also serve great sandwiches, burgers and salads. The Turkey Delight on sourdough is my favorite. Turkey and cheese with a cranberry walnut spread. I bought a chocolate mouse cup to go that looks amazing. Everyone is so kind who works there. And the place is just adorable. Plenty of tables and they have a room that can be closed off with barn doors for a larger party if needed. ”
“ Always fresh, always delicious, food Always friendly and courteous staff There's usually a place to sit, but L.A. Bakery is very popular and frequently busy so sometimes it's standing room only. Treat yourself to one of Carson City's finest eateries ”
“ I've been raving about L.A. Bakery and today I brought my daughter in. She had a Mocha and Salted Caramel Scone and I had a Green Tea Latte and Strawberry Chocolate Scone...absolutely delicious. She also had a Mango Smoothie to go. She loved how creamy it was compared to others. Staff is also so nice!! Love it here. ”
“ Yum! On our day trip a friend suggested L.A. Bakery as a possible snack stop/lunch option...after searching on Yelp and never having been here, sounded like a winner to me. I went with the Turkey Melt, which was perfect, portion and delicious. I ordered this Guava Punch Kombucha which I hadn't tried before but fell in love with it. On the way out I ordered a Lavendar latte and a Peanut Butter dessert, wow everything was incredible and I told my friend if I'm ever in the area again for work I will add this to my lunch stop lists. The place was packed to the brim and as we were seated to another area were informed this room would close in 30 minutes due to an event. They seem to do well, although this business is tucked away. Another great dining establishment that has been around in Carson for some time. ”
“ Delicious mocha and wonderful spinach feta croissant. The pastry is flaky and tender. It is a little sweet but that's minor. The cafe also has shopping opportunities with crafted and imported hippie stuff. And it's 2 blocks from my boyfriend's house. So awesome! The ambiance is light and welcoming. I'll never make coffee again. Friendly service and homemade goat milk soap. Love it. ”
“ I have heard so many good things about this place! I was excited to come here for lunch. I ordered the BLTA on Rye. Kinda surprising there is nothing that comes with it. When I record the sandwich it looked so good. After a few bites, I realized it did t have a lot of flavor. It looked there was a good amount of bacon, but on further inspection, there wasn't very much. It was kind of disappointing. Someone in my party ordered the cheeseburger. This came out looking amazing. They had to order the fries separately. The burger was very good! I look forward to trying this place again. I don't base my opinion on one visit. I will come back to try some other items. ”
